Date: Sunday 27/09/2026 Time: 2pm to 4.30pm Venue: Fleetville Community Centre, Royal Road , St Albans, AL1 4LQ Time Control: 15 minutes per game Format: Swiss Format - every player plays the same number of games and is paired according to results from previous rounds Round Times:- Round 1: 2pm Round 2: 2.25pm Round 3: 2.50pm Round 4: 3.15.pm Round 5: 3.40pm Round 6: 4.05pm Medals will be awarded to the top three and we will be two categories - Under 11 and Under 9 FREE PARKING at nearby Morrisons for shopping and coffees and parents will NOT need to stay behind but are welcome to sit at the back of the room, Spots are limited, so be sure to register early. We will be running several tournaments throughout 2026-27 school year and the players scores from their best 5 tournaments will be added together to declare the Grandprix winner - A trophy will be awarded to the Hertfordshire County Champion. less
